1. About INUA Physical Therapy

INUA Physical Therapy is a holistic physical therapy practice located in Sacramento, California, led by Jason Marvin, PT.

Jason Marvin is a Manual Physical Therapist with over 25 years of advanced training and is a fifth-year graduate of the Canadian School of Osteopathy. INUA is grounded in traditional osteopathic principles that recognize the body as an integrated, self-regulating system.

The work focuses on restoring healthy motion within the body and between the body’s internal structures and their relationships, supporting the body’s natural capacity for adaptation, resilience, and function.

At INUA, care may include hands-on manual therapy, intuitive assessment, physical evaluation, and consideration of physical, emotional, mental, and energetic influences as they relate to each individual’s presentation.

Each session is guided by ongoing evaluation and by what the body appears ready to address. Care is intended to remain focused, responsive, and aligned with meaningful, lasting change.

Booking an appointment does not guarantee ongoing care, a specific outcome, or that any particular service is appropriate for your condition. Jason reserves the right to determine whether care is appropriate and whether referral to another health care provider is recommended or required.

4. Appointment Cancellation Policy

To ensure continuity of care and effective treatment planning, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for any cancellation or rescheduling.

Consistent attendance supports therapeutic progress and optimal outcomes. Appointments canceled, missed, or changed within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time may be billed at the full session rate, as that time has been reserved exclusively for you.

6. Physical Therapy Services

Physical therapy services are provided within the scope of applicable California law and professional standards.

Physical therapy may include evaluation, treatment planning, instruction, consultative services, manual therapy, movement-related care, and other physical therapy interventions as clinically appropriate.

INUA does not guarantee diagnosis, cure, recovery, pain elimination, emotional release, energetic release, or any specific outcome. Individual outcomes depend on many factors, including health history, condition complexity, participation, consistency, body adaptability, and other individual circumstances.

Jason may recommend that you seek care from a physician, surgeon, podiatrist, chiropractor, dentist, mental health provider, emergency provider, or other licensed professional when your presentation appears outside the scope of physical therapy or when additional evaluation is appropriate.

7. Direct Access Physical Therapy Notice

California law may allow a person to initiate physical therapy treatment directly from a licensed physical therapist under certain conditions. However, direct access is subject to legal limits.

Where applicable, a patient may continue direct physical therapy treatment services for up to 45 calendar days or 12 visits, whichever occurs first, after which continued physical therapy treatment may require approval of the physical therapist’s plan of care by an appropriate licensed physician, surgeon, osteopathic physician, or podiatrist, depending on the circumstances.

This website notice does not replace any written intake notice, informed consent, plan of care, referral requirements, or documentation required by California law or professional standards.

8. No Emergency Services

INUA Physical Therapy does not provide emergency medical services.

Do not use this website, email, online forms, text messages, group sessions, Energy Matrix sessions, replays, or digital products for medical emergencies.

If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe pain, stroke-like symptoms, severe allergic reaction, loss of consciousness, suicidal thoughts, sudden neurological symptoms, acute injury, or any urgent or life-threatening condition, call 911 or seek immediate emergency medical care.

9. Website, Educational Content & Digital Materials

The information provided on this website, in emails, videos, audios, replays, downloads, workshops, group sessions, Energy Matrix sessions, social media posts, articles, and other materials is for general educational and informational purposes only unless specifically provided as part of an individual physical therapy appointment.

Educational content is not a substitute for individual medical advice, diagnosis, physical therapy evaluation, treatment, mental health care, emergency care, or care from your own licensed health provider.

You should not disregard medical advice or delay seeking medical care because of something you have read, watched, heard, or experienced through INUA content.

10. Energy Matrix, Group Sessions & Replays

Energy Matrix sessions, group healing sessions, workshops, online events, replays, and related content are intended for education, self-awareness, personal exploration, and general wellness support.

Unless clearly stated otherwise in writing, these sessions are not individualized physical therapy treatment, psychotherapy, medical diagnosis, mental health treatment, emergency support, or a substitute for care from a licensed medical or mental health professional.

Group sessions are not designed to evaluate or treat your individual medical condition. Participation is voluntary, and you are responsible for listening to your own body, choosing your level of participation, and seeking appropriate professional care if needed.

No result, release, improvement, emotional shift, physical change, energetic change, or personal outcome is guaranteed.

11. Intuitive, Emotional, Mental & Energetic Considerations

Jason’s work may consider physical, emotional, mental, and energetic influences as part of a holistic view of the person.

These considerations are not intended to replace medical evaluation, diagnosis, psychological treatment, psychiatric care, or other licensed professional services where such care is needed.

Any references to energy, energetic blocks, body wisdom, emotional patterns, belief patterns, intuitive assessment, or similar concepts should be understood as part of INUA’s holistic framework and not as a guaranteed explanation, diagnosis, or cure for any health condition.

12. Informed Consent

By choosing to participate in services, sessions, online events, digital programs, group sessions, or physical therapy appointments with INUA, you acknowledge that you understand the nature of the services being offered and agree to participate voluntarily.

You understand that physical therapy and manual therapy may involve physical contact, movement, positioning, pressure, discussion of symptoms, and ongoing assessment.

You understand that group sessions and educational materials may invite reflection on physical, emotional, mental, or energetic experiences.

You may ask questions at any time. You may decline, pause, or stop participation at any time. You remain responsible for communicating discomfort, concerns, changes in symptoms, or anything that feels unsafe or inappropriate.

13. Telehealth & Online Services

Some services, consultations, educational events, or sessions may be provided online or through telehealth when appropriate and legally permitted.

Before receiving health care services through telehealth, you may be informed about the use of telehealth and asked to provide verbal or written consent. Consent may be documented.

Telehealth has benefits and limitations. It may not allow the same level of physical assessment, hands-on evaluation, touch, or observation as an in-person session. Technology interruptions, connection issues, privacy limitations, or platform security limitations may occur.

You agree to participate from a private and safe location where you can speak freely and move safely if movement is part of the session.

Jason may decline to provide telehealth services if your location, condition, legal requirements, or clinical needs make telehealth inappropriate.

Telehealth services may be subject to the laws of California and may also be affected by the laws of the place where you are physically located at the time of the session.

22. Security

INUA takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, loss, or misuse.

However, no website, email system, payment platform, video platform, or online transmission is completely secure. You acknowledge that you submit information electronically at your own risk.

25. No Guarantees

INUA makes every effort to accurately represent its services and educational materials. However, no guarantee is made that you will improve, heal, release pain, reduce stress, experience emotional change, experience energetic change, achieve a specific outcome, or receive results similar to any testimonial, example, story, or previous client experience.

Testimonials, examples, and stories are individual experiences and should not be interpreted as a promise or guarantee.

Your results may depend on many factors, including your condition, history, participation, consistency, lifestyle, medical complexity, emotional readiness, stress load, and other factors outside INUA’s control.

26. Professional Referrals

Jason may recommend that you seek evaluation or care from another licensed professional when appropriate.

This may include a physician, surgeon, osteopathic physician, podiatrist, chiropractor, dentist, mental health professional, emergency provider, specialist, or other licensed provider.

INUA does not replace your primary care provider or other members of your health care team.
